Your attitude is a result of all of your life experiences. Some people, based on environment and a variety of circumstances get off to a better start and experience positive adjustments.Others, less fortunate have been influenced by negative forces resulting in negative adjustments.Your life experiences with these positive and negative forces have adjusted your attitude.Today, right now that is all history.Regardless of your experiences, positive or negative where you are at is where you are now. This is where we'll start.Have you ever attended one of these 'motivational programs' and left the room all pumped up? How did you feel days later when nothing had changed? These 'motivational programs' often have the same effect you get from eating a candy bar. There's the short term sugar energy boost and then you feel the long term effects.Later, you lose energy and the sugar rots your teeth. The motivator got you excited but the message has passed and the motivator is gone.It doesn't work and the end result is nothing has changed.External attempts at motivation won't work for you for the long term.Internal motivation will. The only person who can motivate you is you. When the speaker, teacher or motivator is gone you'll still be there. In the articles that follow I will describe a different attitude. This way you can focus on self motivation each day. Each attitude presented will be followed by a question for you to focus on three times a day. These constant daily reminders will help you adjust your attitude and stay on track. You will experience changes within 21 consecutive days and the longer you continue the greater the impact. The ten attitudes presented in the next articles are in no order of importance.Certain attitudes will be more relevant to you than others. This depends in large part on your personality and experiences.Later you will be asked to prioritize these attitudes. This will help you focus on what's important to you.The daily application of these attitudes will make a huge difference in your business and personal life. The goal here is action.Implementation is your greatest challenge. You need to commit a minimum of 21 consecutive days and apply 'child like repetition' to internalize these attitudes.Attitude isn't everything, but it is a great place to start.I'll see you then.
